Logic Leeds is a major industrial and distribution hub off Junction 45 of the M1, featuring 1.4 million sq ft of prime employment space. RPP have been involved in the infrastructure and construction of ten units for end users such as Amazon, John Lewis, Pegasus World and Premier Farnell.
Premier Farnell’s 350,000 sq ft distribution warehouse and three storey offices required a significant amount of infrastructure works to create a serviced plateau ahead of the construction of the unit. The project also incorporated much of the warehouse fit-out works and required co-ordination with the MEP installation, which was undertaken by Premier Farnell. The completed unit achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.
The 365,972 sq ft Plot B - Amazon Sortation and Distribution Centre comprised a new build warehouse, category B office and welfare space, along with associated external works, including excavation and earthworks, HGV and light vehicle access, circulation and parking areas, gatehouses, external M&E services and infrastructure, site fencing and protection and utilities, soft landscaping and all underground drainage.
