Unit 6 starts on site at Wakefield Hub

Wakefield Hub is a 200-acre industrial / distribution joint venture for  HBD and Yorkcourt, located at Junction 30 of the M62 that will provide up to one million sq ft of new design and build industrial and warehouse units with B1, B2 and B8 uses.

The latest scheme comprises the construction of a new 260,000sqft unit with office space and two two-storey hub offices and carparking, including 46 electric charging bays.

The warehouse will be cross docked, with services yards to front and rear and loading docks with canopies. When complete, the unit is expected to achieve BREEAM Very Good and an EPC Rating A.

RPP are providing Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, Health and Safety Client Advisor and Principal Designer services on the scheme.
